Flower Patch Scrapbooking

Do you think that rubber stamps and scrapbook pages don't go together?  ..... well, I'm thinking you should take a good look at these!

The focal point of these pages are stamped images!  They were created using the newest In Colors (2014-2016) from Stampin' Up!  The colors are:

Blackberry Bliss
Lost Lagoon
Hello Honey
Mossy Meadow
Tangelo Twist

I used the stamp set, Flower Patch, which is one of our fabulous Photo Polymer sets found in the Idea Book and Catalog on Page 156.  In addition to the stamps, I used the coordinating framelits, Flower Fair, which are also available in the Idea Book & Catalog on Page 230.

Every month, on the 2nd Monday of the month, I hold my scrapbooking club!  I would LOVE for you to join us!  All you have to do is message or call me and I can schedule you in!  Come once in a while or come every month, the choice is up to you!  I could also provide the kit to go with or without the stamps!  Just message me!

Operaton Write Home - Soldier Night

A huge THANK YOU to Tee, Jo, Lois & Chris for your selfless volunteerism!!

A couple of weeks ago, these gals gathered with me in the studio for the sole purpose of creating greeting cards for deployed soldiers!

In a matter of 2-1/2 hours, we were able to complete and ship 450 greeting cards to Operation Write Home!!

Want to participate in a project like this with me?  All you have to do is say the word!  I have materials ready for a few hundred more cards and would LOVE for you to make them with me!

Do you have a loved one or know of a unit that is deployed and would like some handmade cards to be able to write notes to their loved ones in them? If so, PLEASE get their information to me and I will personally ship them cards!

Thanks again girls for all that you have done!  I know that we are making MANY soldiers extremely happy!

Journaling Made Pretty

Hey Stamping Friends!

How about this for a simple yet elegant 3-D project!?

Using the awesome new journals found in the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog, I created this journal book as one of the projects for my upcoming Work of Art Stamp Camp!

Using the big "swoosh", I inked it in Blackberry Bliss ink and stamped it full strength for the first time and did not reink it for the second one.  I then repeated that process for the next two.  I added a heart, stamped in Silver Encore ink and punched a bitty butterfly using our amazing Butterfly punch.  Using a 1-1/2" x 2" piece of very vanilla cardstock and a scrap of Blushing Bride cardstock, I created the sentiment.  I stamped it in the Blackberry Bliss ink and added a bit of our linen thread to jazz it up!  I adhered the sentiment using dimensionals!

The question usually asked???  Where did you get the journals?  LOL That is easy, Page 200 in the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog!

Kraft Grid Journals - #135718 - Pack of 2 $4.95
Work of Art Stamps - #134111 (Wood) - $29.95
                                 - #134113 (Clear)  - $21.95
Blackberry Bliss Ink - #133642 - $5.95
Encore Silver Ink - #132142 - $9.95
Bitty Butterfly Punch - #129406 - $15.95
Scallop Edge Border Punch - #119882 - $15.95
Linen Thread - #104199 - $4.50

I am a Winnner!!!

WOW!  I would never have guessed that I would be a winner but I guess I am!!

Several weeks ago, while I was at the Stampin' Up! Inspire. Create. Share Convention 2014 I was involved in a Pinterest card contest!  Each of us was given a package of supplies and had to create a project on our own.  We then had to post it to Stampin' Up!'s Pinterest board.  The 10 people with the greatest number of likes and repins would win a $50 shopping spree!

Apparently, I was one of the top 10!!!  I was officially notified by Stampin' Up! and on August 1st I got to claim my $50 in SU! goodies!!!!  Best of all, one of the perks of being an Independent Demonstrator is I get to order NEW products earlier than customers!  That being said, that means my shopping spree will be items from the upcoming HOLIDAY CATALOG!!!  This is so exciting!!!

Thank you to EVERYONE that "liked" or "repinned" my pin!!!  LOVE YOU ALL!  Enjoy this early Christmas creation!
