Happy October! Happy 50!

Hey friends!

Wishing you a very Happy October and a wonderful fall season!

As you all know, I NEVER want to give up summer
but October is a great time of year.  The leaves are turning, days are getting cooler, and it is the month of my birth!  This year is a special birthday -- the big 5-0!!  Yup, 50 already!

I spent some time this week going through old photos of my small family.  Those of you that know me well know that my family members have all passed and the few memories that I do have and all of the incredible friends that I have made through Stamping' Up! are very important to me.  I thought I'd like to share some of my favorites with you!  This one is of my mom and me.

To celebrate my 50th birthday, I would like to offer a small gift to all of you!  For every $50 in orders placed with me, I will give or send you a $5.00 off your next order with me!  Woo Hoo!

Sure wish I knew how old I was here.... I'm thinking under a year?  What do you think?

I guess I know why I don't sleep much now...must have gotten all I needed way back when! lol

So help me celebrate my 50th birthday and you will receive the gift!  Spend $50 and get back $5!!

Remember to Give Thanks Blog Hop

Hello friends from around the world!  I am super excited to welcome you all back to the amazing blog hop brought to you by a very talented group of demonstrators that all achieved one of Stampin' Up!'s greatest rewards....the earning of The Grand Vacation!

This month our theme is Giving Thanks.  Here in the United States, we are approaching our fall season.  With fall comes the celebration of Halloween and then Thanksgiving.  It is a time for us to reflect on all of the things we are grateful for.

Although I have used the same watercolored image for both of my projects, I wanted to give them different backgrounds.  After all, don't we all live in different types of houses?  Some of us have wood siding, while others of us live in brick homes.  Luckily for me, Stampin' Up! has some incredible products that allow me to show you both!

My first card is stamped with the Hardwood background stamp directly to the Crumb Cake card base.  Using some of our awesome new Holiday 2015 products, I created the window scene!  (All products used on this card are listed in the table below the project.

Here is the second of two projects.  This is my "brick" house!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I truly appreciate it!  I know that you are going to enjoy all of the other great projects on this hop!

.............. Until next time!

Awesomely Artistic Birthday

Happy September everyone!  Ya, that's right!  September already!

Today I am sharing one of my club projects for this month.  It uses our awesome pre-cut pre-scored note cards and showcases the stamp set called, "Awesomely Artistic".

I love the look that collage stamping offers.  Some people have a difficult time stamping images over one another; however, if you give it a try I know you will love it!  You can make a beautiful card with one layer of paper!

I used crumb cake, tip top taupe, and early espresso inks for the bulk of the project and then added a little wild wasabi for the ferns and watermelon wonder for the greeting!
How about joining one of my clubs??  I have openings for the first Monday of every month, first Thursday, and third Monday.  You can then make 3 inspiring projects with me every month!!

..... until next time!

If the broom fits....

Hey everyone!  Welcome back to the home of the Stamp-Pattys!

I'm happy to share another sneak peek of our upcoming Holiday catalog with you all!

Although I have absolutely no idea who or for what reason I would send this card....I absolutely had to have the stamp because I love the image and the saying!

I used some other brand new product here too!  Can you pick out the new stuff????

......if you said the embossed background, the washi tape, and the black glimmer paper you are absolutely correct!

Now that I have answered that for you, I need your help!!  PLEASE leave me a comment on my blog to help me to know who or when I would send this project out!!!

Thanks for stopping by!  ....until next time!

Today I am sharing a couple of items with you!  I have had a couple of weeks to "play" with my new holiday goodies and I just could NOT decide on just one thing to share!  I am sharing some Halloween projects; one of which was introduced at our recent Inspire. Create. Share. SU! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I must admit, I am usually NOT a fan of Halloween; however, I do LOVE this project and the coordinating stamp set!

This project is absolutely gorgeous in person!  I can not believe how simple it was to create!  I am holding a class on September 12th at 9:00 am if you want to come and make one with me!  Simply email me:  stampthis2004@yahoo.com and I can get you registered!

For my other project, I couldn't resist created one more Halloween project for you!  This one showcases the brand new stamp set called Cheer All Year.

Did you get a look at that incredible black spider web?  Isn't it awesome?!!  These are brand new die-cut pieces available in the new Holiday catalog starting September 1st!!!  They come in a package of 20!!!  I cut one in half for this project...that means I could get 40 of these cards with only 1 package!

Well, I guess it is time for you to see what the next blog has in store!  Scroll on down to the next name on the list (Linda Higgins) and see what she has for you!

Thanks for stopping and be sure to bookmark or subscribe to my blog so that you will see my creations on a regular basis!!  I will have more sneak peek items later this week!

All About Babies Blog Hop

Hey my friends both new and old!

It is time for our monthly Stamper's Dozen blog hop!  If you arrived here from Judy's or Lee's site, WELCOME!  I am so happy to have you here!  If you are one of my regular followers, THANK YOU for coming back!  Today you are in for a treat!  It is time for the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop!

This month we will all be sharing creations with babies in mind!  I don't know about you but I have reached the age where a lot of my friends are now becoming grandparents!  Although my sweet Katelyn is approaching her 26th birthday she is not yet ready to make her dad and I part of that group!  Besides I'm not 50 until October!  Once I hit that 50 mark, I will be ready for the role of a grammie...or I'd rather be a Mimi!

Anyway, here are my projects for this month's hop!

While I was in Salt Lake City for this year's Inspire. Create. Share. convention I participated in a 3 x 3 love not swap.  These are four of the over 80 swaps that I received!  3 x 3 cards are the absolute perfect size for gift giving!

I'd like to give credit to Kathy H., Loretta I., Brenda U., and Charlet M. as the original creators.  I just tweeked them a bit!

My favorite is the "It's a Girl" card in the top left.  I absolutely LOVE those new foil doilies!  Which one is your favorite?  Leave me a comment on my blog and tell me!

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to scroll down and click on the next blog button to visit Lee's site and see what she has prepared for you!
