On Stage Highlights - Blog Hop

Hey everyone!

Thanks for joining me today!  The focus of our hop today is to share the highlights that each of us experienced while attending Stampin' Up!'s recent On Stage event.  My group and I attended the local event held in Secaucus, NJ.  We embarked on a road trip (3 hour drive) from CT to NJ.  This is always a fun time!  Lots of laughs, wondering what is in store for the event, and of course sharing our love of stamping together!!

I'm the driver -- taking the photo!  My co-pilot Jenn and back seat passengers Liz, Marlene and Rachel

My pretty wrapped gifts for my team members!

Each of my team members that attended received a custom shirt with our team logo as well as a personalized SU! bone folder with their name engraved on it!

The check in area -- before anyone else arrived!

What is a Stampin' Up event without stamping!  Me and my gang cleared out our hotel room and
turned it into a stamping paradise!!

This photo is to show you how beautiful the table settings were when I arrived at the Center Stage event that was held on Friday evening.  This event is for all demonstrators that have a title of Silver Elite and above.  It is real dishes and real silverware!!  The table is set beautifully and there are always special gifts that we receive!

This time around, each of us attending the Center Stage event was treated to a delicious dinner, a to die for dessert, and a beautiful purse/bag that is big enough to actually hold 12 x 12 paper!!  LOVE IT!!!

These are the lovely ladies I got to spend my evening with!  They were my table mates at the Center Stage Event.
I couldn't resist also sharing a photo of me with my new bag!

The group photo above is one of those that were honored on stage for earning the incentive trip to Thailand!!!  Yup, I will be going to Phuket Thailand in July...courtesy of Stampin' Up!

The last photo I am leaving you with is one of me with my awesome team members!!!

Wouldn't you like to attend the next event with me?!!!  I promise it is an extremely memorable time! I'd love to have you join my team and join me on the next excursion!!!

Happy Holidays -Blog Hop

  Hey Everyone!

Thank you so much for joining me today!  I am super excited to share the holidays with you all!  Today I am sharing the same project done two different ways!  Did you realize that the framelits that Stampin' Up! carries in their catalogs can be used for more than making cards?  How about these great pieces of wall art?!!!

My first creation was actually the second photo I showed here in my post.  I thought the background was a bit too busy so I decided to try it with a different background.  I then pulled out a piece of Maria Mist 12 x 12 cardstock and proceeded to put all of the pieces on it in the same fashion.  I wasn't feeling the real red letters on the marina mist so I decided to add some more gold!  What is the holiday season without glitter, glimmer, and lots of shine?!!!!  I'm very happy with my finished product and it will be the showcase of my 12 x 12 Holiday Wall Art class on December 7th!

Supplies:

  • 12 x 12 Marina Mist Cardstock
  • 12 x 12 Whisper White Cardstock
  • Gold Foil Sheets
  • Gold Glimmer Paper
  • Basic Black Cardstock
  • Crumb Cake Cardstock
  • Emerald Envy Cardstock
  • So Saffron Cardstock
  • Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set
  • Basic Black Ink
  • Real Red Marvelous Marker
  • Real Red Baker's Twine
  • Santa's Sleigh Photopolymer Stamp Bundle (Framelits too!)
  • Mini Jingle Bells
  • Early Espresso Classic Ink
  • Large Letters Framelits
Well thank you so much for stopping by!  Please be sure to click on the next blog link below to see what Janet has in store for you!!

Stamping My Way to Alaska

Hey everyone!  Thank you so much for joining me today!  I am part of a great group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that are working really hard on our next incentive trip to Alaska!  One of the demos that I look up to the most, Janet W. created this great group and also was my inspiration for today's share!  I'd like to also congratulate her on her incredible achievements this past SU! year!

My project today is actually a piece of 12 x 12 wall art!

The project was created using our Paiselys and Poseys designer series paper; specifically the one paper with the copper foil ingrained in it.  I can not resist using my large letter framelits to shout out the message of giving thanks!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my incredible customers, friends, family and downline for your continued support and loyalty to me!

Wishing you all a very happy Thanksgiving!

Remember,  my students are part of a competition at school!  We need your help!  Send me your boxtops and for every 20 you send me, I will send you a handmade card!

Inspired By Nature - Blog Hop

Good Day Everyone!

Thank you for joining me for another exciting blog hop!  Although we are approaching our winter season here on the East Coast of the US, other countries (like Australia) are approaching summer!  We thought it would be kind of neat to have a blog hop that focuses on nature!  With that being said, you are going to see a bunch of different takes on this theme!

I couldn't resist sharing with you a couple of projects that was made for me by a couple of great friends! The first of the two was

created by my great friend Dawn G. she sent it to me to celebrate the season!  I particularly love the leaf cut out of the hardwood background with the beautiful fall scenery behind it!

The second of the projects was created by a member of my downline, Sylvia!

I love Sylvia's project because summer is my all-time favorite season and this jar of fish reminds me of summer!

This is a technique that I taught my downline a while ago and she resurrected it to share this project with me.

Here is a closer look at the "water" in the jar.  It is actually hair gel put inside a clear bag.  The bag is laid on top of the stamped image and put together very much like a shaker card.  Both of these projects feature my favorite background stamp called, "Hardwood".  they are both stamped on crumb cake cardstock with espresso ink.

Time to hop on over to the next site to see the inspiration that is there for you!  Thanks for stopping in and I look forward to sharing more with you!
