Sneak Peek Holiday Projects!!

Hello stamping friends!

I know that you all love hearing from me AND I know you love LOTS of inspiration in just one post!  I decided to hop on board for another blog hop!  Our theme today is sneak peeks into the brand new Holiday Catalog that will go live for customers on September 1st.  I will have catalogs available for you after August 6th!  Be sure to contact me for your very own copy!!

As a Thailand trip achiever, I received numerous products from the holiday catalog as pillow gifts!  Given such, I am able to create and share these new products with you now!  It is one of the incredible perks of not only being a SU! demonstrator but also earning the fabulous incentive trip!!!

While I am excited about all of the incredible Christmas products in the new catalog, I decided to focus on an Autumn project for this hop.  The stamp set that is the focal point of this product suite is called, Painted Autumn.  It is a two-step stamping set and the images are absolutely gorgeous!

I've also included a video to show you how to create the textured background using our new embossing paste!

Thailand Trip Highlights

Well hello everyone!  Welcome to a special edition of the Thailand Achievers Blog Hop!

Where do I begin???  There is so much to share; how do I condense it into a few paragraphs and a few photos?  I guess I will have to do a follow-up post for you all so that I don't drown you in too much today!  LOL

Each of us is sharing the highlights of our recently attended incentive trip to Phuket, Thailand!!  Whoo Hoo!!!

I first want to thank my supportive husband & daughter for putting up with the constant barrage of friends/customers through our home several times per week!  Next, I'd like to give a huge shout out to my loyal customers!  Without all of you attending my classes and camps, I would not have earned this trip!  Last, BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, I need to thank my team!!  You keep me on my toes, I love supporting you all in your endeavors and I would love nothing more than to have you ALL join me on the next trip!!

You may or may not know that when you earn an incentive trip, Stampin' Up! provides the airfare and resort/cruise costs for me and one guest!  The 2017 trip brought us to Phuket Thailand.  The trip was actually a 6-day trip; however, I chose to extend it and included a stop over in the United Arab Emerites...specifically Dubai!!  My pal Shannon joined me on this around the world adventure and we had the time of our lives!!

Trip highlights:

  • Meeting up with friends from around the world
  • 5-Star resort on the Adaman Sea
  • Riding an Asian elephant
  • Holding a real, live Falcon -- the national bird of the United Arab Emerites
  • 4 x 4 dune bashing in a real red dune desert
  • Riding a camel in the desert
  • Getting LOTS of SU! product!!!
We made it to Thailand!!

The aqua waters of the Phi Phi Islands

Who can resist a trip to the Harley store?! Not us!  joined by my pals Shannon and Dawn & Richard Griffith!

The entry of our resort

One of our favorite places on the resort...the Xana Beach Club Infinity Pool

My first real Thai meal!  LOVE me some Pad Thai!!!

Long boat on Phi Phi Islands

Real momma & baby monkeys at Phi Phi Islands

One of the many temples that Shannon and I visited

After riding, I got to feed the elephants and even got a smooch on the cheek from one!  So sloppy....but so cool!

Made it to Dubai!  in the United Arab Emerites

Got to ride a real camel!!

Couldn't resist a camel selfie!

Visited the Burj Khalifa -- the tallest building in the world!

Jumeriah Beach - Dubai UAE - beautiful but soooooo hot!  Greater than 120 degrees!
I hope that you all enjoyed a brief glimpse of my trip of a lifetime!  Who wants to join me next year???

We Love Hosts Blog Tour

Hey everyone!  Welcome to a blog hop dedicated to all of you fabulous hosts/hostesses!  All of the project you will see will feature our fabulous hostess sets!!  Today, I am sharing a monochromatic project in black and white.  It features the hostess set called, "Tranquil Tulips".   Be sure to click on the next link in the hop to see what everyone else has in store for you!

I used the archival black and grey ink pads for the tulip and then overlayed a greeting from the Rose Wonder stamp set using the new fig ink!  I used the new Layering Leaves 3-d embossing folder for the white layer under the focal point.  I don't know if you can tell from my photo but the black shimmery ribbon on this card is absolutely beautiful!  It is so nice to work with and has little bits of sparkly magic in it!!

Thank for stopping by!  Be sure to continue on the hop to see some other hostess inspiration!!

New Catalog Favorites - International Blog Hop

Hey everyone!  So excited to be part of this great group of Stamping' Up! demonstrators!  The new catalog is a mere 20 days old and boy do we have some creativity to share with you all!  Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Hope you enjoy what I have for you!  Very often, I like to not only share new products but I like to show you how old products can meld in so nicely with new!

This is a layout I created for my scrapbook club this month!  Old products that I used include the stamp set called, High Tide as well as the set called, Swirly Bird.  Can you see the adorable beach/adirondack chairs in this layout?  Those were created using the brand new framelits that coordinate with the Colorful Season product suite!  Can't wait to make some new beach memories this summer so I can put my photos right in here!

Be sure to visit all of the sites below to get lots of inspiration from the new Idea Book & Catalog!

Any of you that know me know that my husband Paul and I are motorcycle enthusiasts and each summer we go on a long haul bike trip.  I absolutely LOVE this stamp set, "ONE WILD RIDE"!  It was designed by my very good friend, Dawn Griffith and her husband Richard when she earned her million dollars in career says.  Paul and I have spent days riding with them when we have gone on Stampin' Up! incentive trips too!
