Paisley Prints

Today's share is another example of a beautiful Fall/Thanksgiving card.  It showcases the new Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper.  This paper is absolutely beautiful.  You really have to see and feel it.  It is a specialty DSP.  It is actually a cardstock weight and is lightly textured.

This card is the work of Lois H., a demonstrator from MO.  She also took part in my demonstrator only swap.

The card utilizes Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, and More Mustard cardstocks in addition to the DSP.  Look closely and you will also see many extras.  She used her Big Shot machine to cut out and texture the leaves and she used the scallop circle and 1-3/4" circle punches to showcase her focal point.  The stamp set is called Paisley Prints.

French Foliage

Today's card is another in a long line of awesome swaps that I received when I hosted a demonstrator only swap for the introduction of our Holiday Mini Catalog!

This card was created using the stamp set French Foliage.  It was created by Cindy K., a member of my downline, from Plainfield, CT.

I love the color scheme that she chose.  When I look at the card it reminds me clearly of the time of year we are in!  Look closely in the upper left corner!  Can you see the new glimmer brads?  They are so gorgeous!  You are gunna love them!

Stamps:
  • French Foliage
  • Elements of Style (Verse)
Inks:
  • Cajun Craze
  • Old Olive
  • More Mustard
Cardstock:
  • Cajun Craze
  • Old Olive

U.D.I. Color Challenge #3

Before I get to my Tuesday color challenge card, I want to take a minute to wish my beautiful daughter, Katelyn, a very happy 21st Birthday!!  I love you sweetie!  Here is a photo of Kate and her friends from Dean College!  (She is in the center wearing the sash!) They took her to Dick's Last Resort for a Birthday Celebration!  I'm sure the place will never be the same!

                               HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY KATELYN!

Well it is another Tuesday challenge!  This week's UDI color challenge is:

I couldn't help thinking about my visit to Founder's Circle! These candy apples brought back such awesome memories!

Those of you that really know me also know that I love non-traditional colors for my Christmas Cards.  This color combination, as well as the shape of the apples and the ribbon bow inspired me to create this card!

A Cute Christmas

Today I would like to showcase the work of one of the newest members of the Stamp-Patty's team!  Her name is Helle and she is from Canterbury, CT.  I recently hosted a demonstrator only swap to showcase the products in the Holiday Mini catalog and Helle was part of my swap!  This was the very 1st swap she has ever done and I couldn't be more proud of the work she has done here!

Can you see the beautiful red sparkles in the Candy Cane Christmas Designer Series Paper?  I just love that paper!  The red sparkles are already on the paper!  It makes a great accent to any card!

Great work Helle!

I will be showcasing all of the cards that I received from this swap over the next month or so!  They are from demonstrators all over the United States and Canada!

Happy Haunted Halloween

So today I thought I would show you my Haunted House!  I created this using the Decor Accents Design-a-House from the mini catalog on Page 37.

For $5.95 this is the cutest Halloween decoration on my mantel!  I put it together in about 5 minutes!  It comes complete with directions and a template of the house that you can use to cover it with Designer Series Papers!  (I am in the process of designing a Thanksgiving house now!)

After assembling the house, I took it outside and spray painted the house black and the roof a silver/grey.  While it was still tacky, I sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds all over it!

One it was nice and glittery, Katelyn (my daughter), decided it needed something.  Using a cotton ball, she created "smoke" for the chimney.  I then used our Bitty Bat Punch to have a bat coming out of the chimney!

This view shows the emblem that I made for over the door!  I used the brand new XL-Decorative Label Punch - Item #120907 - $16.95 from the Holiday Mini Catalog Page 25 as the base.  I then used black waffle paper around the back.  The sign is stamped using an image from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  It is stamped on Pear Pizzazz paper and adhered with our new Glimmer Basics Brads!

Products Used:
  • Item #120911 - Design-a-house  $ 5.95
  • Item # 104294 - Sticky Strip - $ 6.95
  • Item # 119279 - Bitty Bat Punch - $15.95
  • Item #120907 - XL Decorative Label Punch - $16.95
  • Item # 119849 - Modern Label Punch - $16.95
  • Item #121003 - Glimmer Basics Brads - $ 4.95
  • Item #120985 - Waffle Paper - $ 9.95

Founder's Circle - Final Post

Hey everyone!  I sure hope you have enjoyed this journey as much as I have!  I can not believe it is over!  Saturday was our final day and what a day it was!  Have you ever seen 125 women all dressed in bright pink bowling shirts, all in the same place?  It is quite comical I must say!

After being on the bus for a short time, we arrived at the Dixie Convention Center in St. George, UT.  Of course we were a bit confused, as most of us thought we were going bowling.  Turns out we were!  Just a different type of bowling!  We were there to play bowling Wii style!  I was a bit afraid, as I have never even held a Wii controller!  They had 12 X-lge screens set up in the convention center and we played in our team of 8 (the groups we were put in from the first day).  There were prizes for highest overall team score, lowest team score, most strikes, and most gutter balls.

Here is a photo of my team!  Love these girls!  Back row:  Me, Dianna Gibbs, Tammi Ackerson, Kim Peck, Meg Daves / Front:  Cindy Bauman, Caroline LeBiel, and Fanny Trapenier

The convention center was decorated...of course!  Here are some FABULOUS pics!

We enjoyed a great BBQ lunch and then there were incredible dessert.  Here is a picture of Shelli sharing her desserts with us!  lol  I found this hysterical.  She can never decide which dessert to have so she gets one of each and takes one bite only from each so she can share the rest!  She chose us to share it with!

After the final event, we were bussed back to the hotel.  Another gorgeous pillow gift awaited us.  Usually they are delivered much later in the evening but seeing as we were all out of the hotel for our event, it was perfect timing for the SU! gift fairies to deliver the goods!

Inside this pretty pink box was one of the most gorgeouse sweaters I have ever gotten!

It is charcol in color and is ribbed with the early espresso stripped grossgrain ribbon.  When unbuttoned it is adorned with the vintage lace that is in the IB&C!  To finish it off, look carefully at the sleeve.  It is a REAL rubber stamp with the SU! logo!

I thought I would share a couple of other pictures with you to cap off this event!  Here is a picture of Patty Bennett and I!  Just LOVE her stuff!

My final loot pile!  OMG!

As if we weren't exhausted enough we all went to the Tuachan Outdoor Ampitheater to enjoy a performance of Crazy For You!  Here are a couple of pics!

This first one is me, Kristyne Brandt, Jacque Craig and Dawn Rapsas.  The 2nd pic is just one of the performance that I took from my seat.

I hope that you have enjoyed this final post from Founder's Circle and next year I hope and pray that I will return to the top 100 and have a member of my team to join me!!

Founder's Circle - Day #4

Greetings from St. George, Utah!  Another FABULOUS day in the life of me.  I have to keep pinching myself to make sure it is real.  Oh how I wish that you ALL could join me and just see and feel how amazing this experience is.    Each day we visit the Gathering Place and get to play Plinko for prizes.  Every Plinko is a winner!  Here is me going for it!  Turns out I won two sets of the SU! decorative file folders!!! LOVE THEM!

When I last left you, we were enjoying a PJ Party with a Soda Shoppe and Candy Shoppe theme!  After a sugar high we treked back to our rooms to find our next pillow gift.  This one was quite interesting!

A special delivery!

On Saturday, SU! will take us for our Mystery Event. No one is allowed to know where or what we will do it must be a total surprise!  Of course, we were told to wear our new bowling shirts for the event.  (Did you notice the color of the shirt? .... A Stamp-Patty Signature color!!!!!)  So everyone thinks that we are going bowling.  What do you think?  Do you think they will do that?  I think it has to be a little more elaborate than that.????

One thing I do know is that my loot is stacking up!  Here is a picture of the corner of my room thus far!  Sure glad that I only half packed my suitcase on the way here!  Tomorrow is my
last full day so I will share my final event and final gift with you then!

I'm going to leave you with a picture of one of our display boards of swap samples from last night!
