Easter Blossoms

Hello there friends!

I know that postings this week have been sparse!  I am sorry about that!  This week was my first full week of school since Christmas!  I have been exhausted!  For those of you that don't know, in addition to my full-time Stampin' Up! gig, I am a full-time, 8th grade mathematics teacher!  Because of all of the crazy weather patterns, we have missed one or more days per week of school since Christmas!  As a result of all of our lost days, we now lost our February vacation which was to start yesterday (Saturday) and go through this next week and we have lost 1/2 of our April vacation!  Because of my lost vacation, I have been scrambling trying to get everything in order for my upcoming workshops!  I am sorry for neglecting you and will be getting back on track!

Last week I had my downline meeting and we had a great time!  I had 13 of my Stamp-Patty's there and everyone had something great to share!  That's what I love the most!  I love having us all in the same room, sharing our passion for the same things....Stamping!!!  Over the next week or so, I will be sharing the cards created for our downline swap!  Our theme for this swap was Designer Series Paper!  This theme arose because at our last downline meeting we had a long discussion about buying the DSP and then not using it.  In particular, we have a couple of members of our group that think the SU! DSP is way too pretty to cut up!   lol   So, not only did they have to open the package, they actually had to use it!  What beautiful creations they came up with!!!  So that my Alzheimer's didn't take over, I got out a sticky note pad and put everyone's name on their cards so that I could give the right person credit!  Again, I have to apologize to my girl Karen Sousa because I have posted two of her creations recently and gave credit to someone else!  I love you Karen!!!  Sorry :(

Today I am sharing the work of  Megan Sajkowicz. Meg's DSP of choice is the Springtime Vintage paper.  Her card base is Not Quite Navy;
The top note is done using the Big Shot
and the Top Note die on Very Vanilla paper.  Her scallops are done using the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle with Not Quite Navy, the standard scallop circle punch and Rose Red paper and then she used some circle punches to create the greeting! The final touch is some Always Artichoke Seam Binding!

The stamp set is called Easter Blossoms and can be found in the Ocassions Mini Catalog!

................. Until tomorrow!

  1. Patty...your blog is lovely and you're an inspiration! I, too am a full-time teacher (high school music dept. head) and run my SU business on the side. The fact that you earned cruise and Founder's Circle is absolutely amazing and inspires me to work harder to reach my goals. I've only been a demo since last July, but want to build my business to where I can earn the trip. Thanks for the inspiration!
