Good Morning Stamp-Patty’s!

I was speechless to find a comment on my blog from Susan Byington saying that she had bestowed upon me the Stylish Blogger Award!  I never got involved in blogging to get any type of award!  I do it for you my customers and stamping friends!  I can not believe that someone, that I have never met, would recognize me in such a beautiful way!  Susan, I sincerely thank you for this and am so very surprised and honored that you enjoy my blog.  You can visit her blog to see her inspiring creations at

When you receive this award you are to pay it forward and follow these rules:

1) thank the person who gave this award to you and link it back to their blog (see above link)
2) share 8 things about yourself
3) pass this award to 8 other individuals that you have recently discovered
4) leave a comment so that they can pass along the recognition!

Well, here goes . . .Eight things about me that you may not know:

1 – In addition to my Stampin’ Up! business, I am a full-time 8th grade Mathematics teacher.  Teaching is a second career for me; I have been teaching for 11 years.

2 – I have been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for almost 6 years.  I have a total downline of 50 and I have been blessed to have been in the Top 100 Demonstrators for the last two years.  This has entitled me to the incredible opportunity of attending SU!’s prestigious Founder’s Circle Retreat twice!  I also have earned two incentive trips with SU!  My second one will be taken in May when my husband and I will be crusing Alaska!
3 – I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Paul, for almost 24 years!  We dated for 6 years before we got married!

4 – We have one child, a daughter – Katelyn, who is in her 4th year of college.  She is a dance major at Dean College in MA.

5 – When I am not stamping, I am riding my 2005 Harley Davidson Soft-Tailed Deluxe!  I will ride it anywhere.  I have had this bike almost two years and have put 11,000+ miles on it!

6 – I LOVE flip-flops!  Despite the snow here in the NE part of the US, I wear them all year round!

7 – I change my hair color every 5 weeks.  I like change and variety!  lol

8 – In my next life I want to be either a bartender or a waitress.

Now, to offer this lovely award to 8 others. Oh, there are so many wonderful blogs out there, and many of my choices had already received the award, but I have selected the following:

http://www.stampinkpaper.blogspot.com/

http://pictureperfectcreations.blogspot.com/

http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/

I have awarded these based on the following: They must have posted recently, I find their blog/work creative, inspirational, and classy, and they have not received this award in the past. (Or at least I didn’t see it posted on their blogs) Most importantly, they make me smile! Stop on by these lovely ladies’ sites and have a look around. Leave them a comment while you’re there. We demos just love that! 🙂 Thanks again for the award, Susan. I am so honored!

Can’t leave you without your daily dose of inspiration!

Today’s card is the work of Tammy Summiel from CT.  She is a new demonstrator in my downline and she has been creating some fabulous stuff!

She created this for our downline swap recently.  I love the Pretty in Pink and Concord Crush combination!

Thanks Tammy for all that you do!  Thanks for coming into my life!  I know that you were sent to me for a reason!

………. Until tomorrow!
