Triple Treat Flower

Today's project was created using the Triple Treat Flower that is availale in both the Idea Book & Catalog and for the remaining days of March, available for FREE in the Sale-A-Bration catalog with a $50 order.

I used my marvelous markers to color the three layers of the flower - Pool party, Limeade, Calypso Coral.
If you look at the front of the card, you will see two awesome affects.  The first was done with the Adorning Accents Edgelits - Item #125595 in the Ocassions Mini catalog.  The matching embossed image was done with the Adorning Accents embossing folders that are also available in the mini catalog.

I selected the greeting from the mini catalog set called, Loving Thoughts.  I added a piece of the Everyday Enchantment DSP on the inside flap.  You can see it beautifully when the card is closed.  For a final touch, and I apologize that you can't see it, I used my home-brewed shimmer paint mist to put a beautiful shimmer over the entire project!  How do you make shimmer mist??

Shimmer Mist
1 empty spray bottle (small 2-3 oz size)
Isopropal Alcohol (be sure you get the one with a 85-90% alcohol level)
SU! Shimmer paint - I use the Frost White most often

Pour about 1-2 oz. of alcohol into the spray bottle.  Shake the shimmer paint very well and pour some into the spray bottle.  Mix it well.  Test the amount of shimmer.  If you want more, add more shimmer paint.  If you want less, add more alcohol.

Be sure to share your projects!

........................... Until tomorrow!
