Life's a Beach

Happy Sunday everyone!  Happy Father's Day to all those special guys out there!

Today I am excited to share the latest layout that I did for my June Scrapbooking club!  The gals absolutely loved it!  I have been displaying my scrapbook layouts in the studio and as a result, several gals have asked if I will start a second scrapbook club!  I am thrilled to be able to do this!

I have reserved the 1st Tuesday of EVERY month for an additional scrapbooking club!  If you are interested in getting in on this, please email me ASAP so that I can get materials in order!

This layout is perfect for any of those warm, sunny beach days that lie ahead of us!  The page above uses:

  • Bashful Blue 12 x 12 CS
  • Marina Mist 8-1/2 x 11 CS
  • Whisper White (2) 4 x 5-1/4
  • Crumb Cake 2" x 12" ripped (2)
  • Tasteful Trim Big Shot Die for the waves.  I cut Baja Breeze and Bashful Blue DSP for them
  • Build A Pennant Punch - for the sunshine!  I used Tangerine Tango for the backing and Daffodil Delight for the centers
  • 2-1/2" Circle Punch - Daffodil Delight for the sun's center

The right hand page uses all of the same colors and dimensions; however, the adorable flip flops....well that is another story!  I was finishing up the layouts when one of my downline members, Rhonda, came over.  She was working on a card that featured flip flops and was asking my advice.  Of course, if you know me well, I couldn't get passed the flip flops!  I LOVE flip flops (I wear them ALL year around ...yes, even in the winter!).  I of course had to have them for this layout!  Rhonda informed me that she went to TJ Max and purchased a pair of infant flip flops for the sole purpose of tracing them on paper for her card!  What an awesome idea!  I used her template to create a template for myself....and the rest is history!

............. Until tomorrow!
