Wild About Flowers

Hey everyone!

Happy Thursday!  Today I thought I would share another of my Inspire. Create. Share convention swap cards!

I am absolutely loving the Wild About Flowers stamp set!  This project is one that I call clean and simple!  It has just the right amount of elegance and it is truly easy to reproduce!

The card base is Very vanilla card stock cut 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored in half at 4-1/4".  I cut a 2" wide by 5-1/4" strip of paper from our Typeset DSP and then a 3" square piece of basic black and 2-3/4" square of very vanilla.  For ink colors I used Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo.  Using our bitty butterfly punch I couldn't resist a bit of 3-D embellishing!  I finished the project off with 3 of our rhinestones in the bottom right corner!

All of the supplies to make this card can be purchased 24/7 through my online store!  www.stamppattys.com

Color Me New Blog Hop

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers hop for July. This month we are excited to show off the brand new In colors from the just released 2015 – 2016 Annual Catalog. I know you will find great inspiration from the projects.
You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - PATTY CHENAIL or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup is below and it will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting PATTY CHENAIL. All of the "hoppers" are achievers of a Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation!!  This means we all work extremely hard in our Stampin' Up! businesses to bring you inspiring projects to reproduce and share with others!

Our theme this month is Color Me New.  This means we are sharing projects that contain at least two of our brand new colors.  I have showcased three of the five new colors for you!

My project is done on Tip Top Taupe cardstock and both the butterfly and the birthday greeting are stamped in the same color as the paper.  The hydrangea is watercolors using the Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush inks.  I finished it off using our new 1" dotted lace trim also in Cucumber Crush.

I couldn't resist showing you a close up of the hydrangea flower.  I stamped the flower on our watercolor paper in Black StazOn ink and used our aqua painters and the watermelon wonder and cucumber crush inks to create the "painted" affect!

Right now you are on Patty Chenail's blog (stop #12 )  Scroll down and click on the next stop -- Connie Stewart #13!  Make sure you hop on over to the next stop on our blog hop!  You are sure to be inspired again!

Awesomely Artistic Love Notes

Hey my friends,

While you are reading this, I am probably 30,000 feet above you en route to Salt Lake City, Utah for this year's Inspire, Create, and Share - Stampin' Up! Convention!  I will be sure to keep you all posted on my activities!  I will be posting to both my Instagram and Facebook pages - Be sure to follow and "LIKE" me: www.facebook.com/stamppattys

Today I am sharing my 3 x 3" Love Notes that I created for a swap here at convention!  It showcases the stamp set called "Awesomely Artistic" which is found on Page 125 of the Idea Book and Catalog!

I call this collage stamping.  I used several of the images from the set and just layered or collaged them on the card!  I did the "splats" using our new Tip Top Taupe ink, the canvas with Crumb Cake, the ferns with Wild Wasabi, the friend image was done in the new Watermelon Wonder, and both the dragonfly and the medallion in Early Espresso.

These little notes are perfect to pair with a gift!  Just the right amount of space to scribe a personal little note.

Black and White with a "POP" of Color

Hey everyone!

I'm excited to share a project that I created for an organized swap at this year's Inspire, Create, Share 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah!

The title of the swap is Black and White with a Pop of Color.  I chose blushing bride for my pop of color.  I love the way that black and pink look together!

The stamp set that I used is called, "Wild About Flowers".  It is one of my favorites from our new Idea Book and Catalog!  In addition to the stamp set, I used the new embossing folder called Fluttering and our Bitty Butterfly punch to create a 3-D accent for the card!

Christmas in July Blog Hop

Hey everyone!  I know you are probably thinking, "How can you possibly think of Christmas when it is only July?"!   lol  I know it seems a bit early; however, in my world it is time to be planning my holiday card and home decor classes.  Over the course of the season, I will will cut and prepare for more than 1,000 Christmas cards!!  That's right! Over 1,000!!  If I don't start now, I will never be ready for the holiday!

Our theme this month is Christmas in July.  I hope that you are all inspired by the amazing creativity of our fabulous group of blog hoppers!  If you came here from Judy's site, welcome!  If you are joining me from Lee's site, I welcome you too!  For those that are my regular followers, be sure to go through the hop and see the great projects that we have for you at each site!

My project showcases one of our incredible background stamps, "Hardwood" and the set called "Wondrous Wreath" which coordinates with the Sizzix Framelits called "Wonderful Wreath".

It is constructed on a Very Vanilla base (5-1/2 x 8-1/2) and then a layer of Cherry Cobbler (4 x 5-1/4").  It is stamped with the Hardwood stamp in Chocolate Chip ink.  The panels of the "door" were cut free hand (into rectangles) and sponged with the chocolate chip ink on the edges to give it some depth. The panels are mounted with dimensionals.  The door "knob" is made from one of our neutral candy dots!

This is an easily reproducible card and would not be a problem to make in large quantities!  I hope you have enjoyed visiting my site and are inspired to get your projects started for Christmas!  Now jump on over to Lee's site and continue on the "Joyous" blog hop!
