Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Thanks so much for joining me today!  This is one of my favorite days to post!  Early in December I host my Annual Men's Night!  This is a night that I host the husbands or significant others to come and make a project for their other half and shop for them from their SU! wish list!!

While they were making their projects this year, I thought it would be nice to record a little message from each of them for their special lady!  Enjoy this short but sweet video from this year's guys!!

Now that the cards have been given, I can finally share what they made!

They were true champs!  They produced some of the best shaker cards ever!!  A very special thanks to Marc, Rainey, Dave, Michael, Tony, and Patrick!!  See you all next year!!!

Punch Art - Blog Hop

Hey everyone!

Thanks for joining us in our Punch Art blog hop today!  I have to tell you that I really struggled with this challenge as I am not a real punch art creator!  I decided that although I did not use individual punches to make my project, I felt that using many framelits to create a piece of art qualified as "punch" art!  lol

I hope that you enjoy all three versions of my project!

Stamping My Way to Alaska - Blog Hop December

Hey everyone!

Thanks for joining me on my Stampin My Way to Alaska Blog Hop!  Today I am sharing a project that utilizes products from our soon to be retiring Holiday Catalog!  The beauty of this hop is that our challenge was to use product from the Holiday Catty -- but not have it holiday related!

One of my favorite suites from the holiday catalog is the Petals & Paisleys. For this simple but beautiful card I used the Paisleys & Posies Stamp set and the coordinating framelits.

The color scheme is a neutral vanilla base with pops of color!  I used dapper denim, crushed curry, and rich razzelberry.  I finished it off with a piece of our burlap ribbon and of course stampin dimensionals!
I created this card to express my gratitude to a very special person.  I am so blessed to have so many wonderful friends, family, and customers in my life!  For all of those that I didn't send this card to personally --- this one is for you!
Hugs to all!

Now hop on to the next person on my hop list to be further inspired to grab up products from the Holiday Catalog before it leaves us on January 3rd!!

On Stage Highlights - Blog Hop

Hey everyone!

Thanks for joining me today!  The focus of our hop today is to share the highlights that each of us experienced while attending Stampin' Up!'s recent On Stage event.  My group and I attended the local event held in Secaucus, NJ.  We embarked on a road trip (3 hour drive) from CT to NJ.  This is always a fun time!  Lots of laughs, wondering what is in store for the event, and of course sharing our love of stamping together!!

I'm the driver -- taking the photo!  My co-pilot Jenn and back seat passengers Liz, Marlene and Rachel

My pretty wrapped gifts for my team members!

Each of my team members that attended received a custom shirt with our team logo as well as a personalized SU! bone folder with their name engraved on it!

The check in area -- before anyone else arrived!

What is a Stampin' Up event without stamping!  Me and my gang cleared out our hotel room and
turned it into a stamping paradise!!

This photo is to show you how beautiful the table settings were when I arrived at the Center Stage event that was held on Friday evening.  This event is for all demonstrators that have a title of Silver Elite and above.  It is real dishes and real silverware!!  The table is set beautifully and there are always special gifts that we receive!

This time around, each of us attending the Center Stage event was treated to a delicious dinner, a to die for dessert, and a beautiful purse/bag that is big enough to actually hold 12 x 12 paper!!  LOVE IT!!!

These are the lovely ladies I got to spend my evening with!  They were my table mates at the Center Stage Event.
I couldn't resist also sharing a photo of me with my new bag!

The group photo above is one of those that were honored on stage for earning the incentive trip to Thailand!!!  Yup, I will be going to Phuket Thailand in July...courtesy of Stampin' Up!

The last photo I am leaving you with is one of me with my awesome team members!!!

Wouldn't you like to attend the next event with me?!!!  I promise it is an extremely memorable time! I'd love to have you join my team and join me on the next excursion!!!

Happy Holidays -Blog Hop

  Hey Everyone!

Thank you so much for joining me today!  I am super excited to share the holidays with you all!  Today I am sharing the same project done two different ways!  Did you realize that the framelits that Stampin' Up! carries in their catalogs can be used for more than making cards?  How about these great pieces of wall art?!!!

My first creation was actually the second photo I showed here in my post.  I thought the background was a bit too busy so I decided to try it with a different background.  I then pulled out a piece of Maria Mist 12 x 12 cardstock and proceeded to put all of the pieces on it in the same fashion.  I wasn't feeling the real red letters on the marina mist so I decided to add some more gold!  What is the holiday season without glitter, glimmer, and lots of shine?!!!!  I'm very happy with my finished product and it will be the showcase of my 12 x 12 Holiday Wall Art class on December 7th!

  • 12 x 12 Marina Mist Cardstock
  • 12 x 12 Whisper White Cardstock
